Export from Revit to 3ds Max loses coordinates

Issue

When I export from Revit into 3ds Max everything imports at the world origin (0,0,0)

Solution

Since Revit does not have a comparable coordinate system at this time it is necessary to move the object in 3ds Max.

Use File Link with a parented >  Helper object.  That will allow you to grab the entire Revit model and move it where you want with an offset value.

Note , right clicking on the Select & Move button in 3ds Max will invoke a numeric entry "Move Transform Type-in" input box, for greater precision.

Keep in mind that 3ds Max has single floating point precision so moving far from the origin (to geo cords) is not always something recommendable.
