2011: How to transfer a stand-alone license in AutoCAD for MacIssueYou would like to know how to use the License Transfer Utility to import and export stand-alone licenses with AutoCAD 2011 for Mac. SolutionAlthough online license transfer is not officially supported in the first release of AutoCAD 2011 for Mac, it can be accomplished using the provided script. Download LTU.zip and unzip/uncompress it to a folder on your hard drive. Transferring a License - Close AutoCAD 2011 for Mac and verify that it is not running.
- Open a Terminal window (the Terminal app is typically found in the /Applications/Utilities folder).
- Navigate to the folder where the LTU script was extracted and type ./LTU and press return.
At this point, you should see the following dialog and you can sign in as usual to import or export a license:
