System requirements for Autodesk Alias products

This document provides the system requirements for the currently supported versions of Autodesk Alias Products.

Autodesk Alias 2014 Product System Requirements

For Autodesk Alias Design 2014, Autodesk Alias Surface 2014, and Autodesk Alias Automotive 2014

  • Windows® 8 x64, Windows 7 x32 and x64, or Apple® Mac OS® X 10.7.x or 10.8 operating system
  • 2 GHz Intel® or equivalent AMD Opteron™ processor
  • 2 GB RAM minimum memory (4 GB or more highly recommended)
  • Disk space requirements
    • For Autodesk® Alias® Automotive software: 6 GB free hard disk space
    • For Autodesk® Alias® Surface software: 4 GB free hard disk space
    • For Autodesk® Alias® Design software: 4 GB free hard disk space
  • Supported NVIDIA® or ATI graphics card with a minimum of 256 MB dedicated texture memory[1]
  • Wacom® graphics tablet for sketching
  • .NET 4.0 framework
  • DVD-ROM drive
  • Three-button mouse

For Autodesk Alias Design 2013, Autodesk Alias Surface 2013, and Autodesk Alias Automotive 2013:

  • Microsoft® Windows® 7, Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional SP3, Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 edition SP2, or Apple® Mac OS® X 10.6.2 or 10.7
  • 2 GHz Intel or equivalent AMD Opteron™ processor
  • 2 GB RAM (4 GB or more highly recommended)
  • Disk space requirements
  • For Autodesk® Alias® Automotive software: 6.5 GB free hard disk space
  • For Autodesk® Alias® Surface software: 4 GB free hard disk space
