What Happens If You Rename The AUTODESKVAULT SQL Instance

You would like to know what will happen if you use a different name for the AUTODESKVAULT SQL Instance, or if you change the instance name after installation.

If you create an SQL instance that does not use AUTODESKVAULT as its name, it will not be possible to install Vault Server into it because the installer application is expecting to find an instance with that name.

If you rename the instance after installation it might stop working correctly and would no longer be supported.
