Missing Language Pack and Performance Hotfix

In a continued effort to improve, we are releasing this hotfix for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 to address the following issues:

• Missing Language Pack dialog – This hotfix resolve a specific issue where this dialog appears unexpectedly upon opening a drawing.
• Delay while opening drawings – This hotfix resolves a specific issue that causes drawings to take a long time to open.
• Large file size – This hotfix resolves a specific issue that causes drawings to increase in size even when there has been no additional data added to the drawing.

To apply this hotfix, unzip the attached file, which is AeccNetwork.dbx, and overwrite the existing file located in your program directory; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011.

Once this hotfix is applied, the affected drawings will need to be opened and saved to resolve the issue. As a result, you may see these issues appear the first time you open an affected drawing.

IMPORTANT!!!  This hotfix is already included in Update 1 for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011.  If you have installed Update 1 (or later) for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011, you DO NOT need to install this hotfix and you should not attempt to do so.  Applying this hotfix after an update will generate several errors upon launching AutoCAD Civil 3D and the program will fail to load.  If you do apply the hotfix after an update, you can copy the AeccNetwork file from another computer with the update installed and overwrite the one from this hotfix.
