Cursor is slow or jerkyIssueYou experience that the cursor in AutoCAD®, AutoCAD® Map 3D® or AutoCAD® Civil 3D® is slow or jerky. SolutionThere may be many causes to this issue. Here are a few suggestions that may resolve the issue. 1. If you have an active virus scan application, such as Bitdefender, running on your workstation, disabling or removing the virus scan application may help. Tip: Run program in diagnostic mode to see if the issue still appears. See TS1054234. 2. If the issue occurs and appears to get worse throughout the day, restarting your computer may help. Tip: Reboot your PC 3. Disabling Selection Cycling by typing SELECTIONCYCLING at the command line and setting the value to 0 may help. 4. If you are experiencing the issue on an HP, Dell or other brand of laptop that has a biometric scanner, disabling the Digital Persona (or other fingerprint authentication software) service may help. Tip: Run program in diagnostic mode to see if the issue still appears. See TS1054234. 5. Turn off Properties palette. Tip: (CTRL +1) 6. If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7, try turning off Aero themes and/or disabling the BitLocker feature. 7. Update mouse drivers. Tip: Check other mouse device and see if the issue still appears 8. Update Graphic Card driver. Tip: Check Autodesk Certified Graphic Card list and see if your graphic driver is supported and up to date.
