| Backburner will not work on Windows 7 as a service IssueYou have setup Backburner as a service on a Windows 7 computer and you have turned on your Firewall. The computer listed in the Backburner Monitor will be absent. SolutionYou have configured Backburner to be a service as noted in the Backburner Documentation. After creating an account and you have added a log in username for the Service, you will need to log in to that account so that it will built the appropriate user profile in C:\Users.
You will need to add the following applications as an exception in Firewall Control Panel. - serversvc.exe <All computers>
- managersvc.exe <On manager computer>
To add the program as an exception to the Firewall service, you will need to open the Windows Firewall and set the following: Under the Actions section, Select Add Rule. |
