Analysis Error: The processor associated with this analysis type has not been set.

Issue

You're trying to perform an analysis in Algor Simulation, but the following error message is produced:

"The processor associated with this analysis type has not been set.  Refer to the Analysis tab on the options dialog to correctly set the processor for this analysis."

Solution

  1. Access the "TOOLS|Options" pull-down menu sequence in the Autodesk Algor interface and access the "Analysis" tab. 
  2. For each "Analysis type" listed within the "Processor Options" frame, click the item in the "Processor" column and select "ALGOR". (It may be required to re-select the "ALGOR" option, even if Algor had already been listed.) 
  3. Choose "OK" to accept changes, then re-open the Autodesk Algor interface and re-run the analysis.
