Windows 7 Explorer fails to restart after uninstalling an Autodesk productIssueDuring the final stage of uninstalling an Autodesk product in Windows 7, you were presented with a warning dialog that Windows Explorer needed to be closed and would attempt to be restarted after the uninstallation is complete. 
However, after the uninstall process completes, Windows Explorer does not restart and you are left without a desktop environment. SolutionRestart Windows Explorer using the following steps: - Start the Windows Task Manager
- Choose File -> "New Task (Run...)"
- Enter explorer.exe in the edit field
- Click OK

This has been identified as a Microsoft Windows 7 problem and Microsoft has been made aware of the issue. Note: This issue potentially affects ALL versions of ANY Autodesk products being uninstalled from a Windows 7 operating system.
