Reinitiating the Secondary Installer for AutoCAD 2010SolutionTo reset the AutoCAD® 2010 default user settings, you must first delete your application files and registry entries for the program. Follow these steps: Note: Make sure that you back up any customized AutoCAD 2010 files before starting this procedure. Log on to the computer as that user. Click Start menu (Windows) > Run. In the Run dialog box, enter regedit In the Registry Editor, browse to the following subkey and delete it: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.0\ACAD-8001:409 Close the Registry Editor. Using Windows Explorer, browse to and delete the following user's application folders: Windows Vista C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2010 C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2010Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2010 C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2010Start AutoCAD. This will initiate the secondary installer, recreating the deleted files and folders.Warning!
