Error messages starting Map 3D in the Citrix XenApp environment

Issue

You receive one or both of the following errors when starting Map 3D in the Citrix XenApp environment.

  • Unable to run AutoCAD. This may be due to one of the following reasons:
         1) This version of AutoCAD was not installed properly. In this case, you may wish to reinstall AutoCAD.
         2) You do not have sufficient rights to run AutoCAD.

  • FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 77e4bef7h

Solution

To resolve the error messages or reset the user at a later date log in to the servers desktop as the user then backup and delete these resources:

  • %userprofile%\application data\autodesk
  • %userprofile%\local settings\application data\autodesk
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk

Then run the ApplyAutodeskTemplate.bat.

Note: the Administrator must first create the Template by running the SaveAutodeskTemplate.bat.
