"Operation Canceled!" message when updating Figures to Survey Database IssueAfter breaking a Figure and attempting to update the Survey Database with the two new Figures, you recieve a message that says "Operation canceled! The associated survey database is not available."
SolutionThe reason why you this message appears is because you are attempting to update a Figure that does not existing in the Survey Database. When you break a Figure, you are doing so in the drawing, not in the Database. In other words, you will only be updating one of the new Figures. When you attempt to update the second Figure, you will get the error message. To resolve this, you simply need to add the new Figure to the Database. - In the Survey Tab of the Toolspace, open your Survey Database
- Right-click on "Figures"
- Select "Create Figure from Object"
- Select the new Figure, and name it appropriately
