Crosswalk not available in Softimage

Issue

You want to use Crosswalk, but the File > Crosswalk menu shows only the Import FBX and Export FBX commands.

In the Plugin Manager, the dotXSIConverter plugin has a red triangle, which means the plugin could not be loaded. If you double-click dotXSConverter, you get this message:

Solution

Check that the PATH system environment variable includes C:\Program Files\Common Files\Softimage.

Crosswalk (the dotXSIConverter plugin) needs to load DLLs from Common Files\Softimage.
