Remove Tube and Pipe Authoring from part

Issue

You have created group of parts and authored them for Tube and Pipe.

After that, you have decided to don’t publish them in the Content Center Library.

You want to insert them in your assemblies as normal parts and ipart, but, when you do this Inventor recognizes them as T&P components.

This is due to the authoring info stored in the part.

Solution

There is no direct way to remove the authoring info

In order to do it.

  • Open the authored part.
  • Copy the vba code below to VBA editor and run it.
