Hotfix – Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009 – 2009.03.16

This hotfix addresses the following issue:

  • Biped
Previously in select situations, when selecting parts of a Biped then selecting multiple keys on the time-line a memory leak would occur. Eventually this could result in other application instabilities or a program error. This problem has been fixed.

  • Rendering Output and Bitmap File Chooser
When defining output paths and filenames the first time the proper capitalization would be saved properly. On subsequent opening of this dialog the filename and path would be converted to all lower-case. This fix keeps the proper case as set by the user.

  • MAXScript
In certain situations a flag variable is set while performing a garbage collection that prevents recursive calls to the Garbage Collector. This flag will not be cleared properly and causing a memory leak with the MAXScript Garbage Collector “gc()” command. The fix will clear the flag in the problem exit path clearing the memory from the Garbage Collector.

Note: This Hotfix includes all previous hotfixes and includes Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009 SP1
