Error -125,147: This license cannot be checked out because: A PACKAGE component must be specified

Issue

When you ran a diagnostic check by clicking the Perform Diagnostics button on the Server Diags tab in LMTOOLS, the report contained the following error message:

This license cannot be checked out because: A PACKAGE component must be specified. Error -125,147

Solution

The diagnostic check on the Server Diags tab of LMTOOLS does not function properly with the packaged licenses introduced in the 2009 line of AutoCAD products, and the resulting report does not reflect how the license server is actually operating.  

As an alternative, you can click Status Enquiry on the Server Status tab in FLEXlm® to verify that the license file is being read successfully and to check the number of available licenses.
