Task Scheduler crashing

Issue

When you tried to run Inventor Task Scheduler, the program crashed. However, all of the other Inventor components worked correctly.

Solution

The crash may be caused by tasks that were created in the Scheduled Tasks folder.

To correct this issue

Windows XP

  1. In Control Panel, double-click Scheduled Tasks.
  2. In the Scheduled Tasks folder, delete the existing tasks.
  3. Run Inventor Task Scheduler again.
  4. If the issue was resolved, recreate the tasks you need

Windows Vista

  1. In Control Panel, double-click Administrative tools > Task Scheduler.
  2. In Task Scheduler, delete, and then re-create the existing tasks.
  3. Run Inventor Task Scheduler again.
