Inventor 2008 Service Pack 2 installation failsIssueWhen you tried to apply Service Pack 2 (SP2) to your Inventor installation, you received an error message that indicated the upgrade patch could not be installed.
SolutionInventor service packs are historical which means that you must install all prior service packs before you can install the most recent service pack. To verify that you have met the installation requirements, click Product Information on the Inventor Help menu. In the Product Information dialog box, confirm that the required service packs are installed. If the necessary service packs are not installed, you must install them before you install the most recent service pack.
