TS1093327 ADMS (Vault Server) Multi Language Support

Issue

You would like to know what language combinations of Operating Systems and Application are supported for use with Autodesk Data Management Server or Vault (Server).

Solution

Currently, Vault Server is supported in the following configurations

• English OS + English Application
• Local OS* + English Applicaiton
• Local OS + Same Language Local Application

Not supported

• English OS + Local Application
• English OS + Local Language Pack + Local Application

 Where "Application" refers to client and server applications

* The Local OS must be a language where a localised version of Vault Server is also available.

The base Vault (Client) is supported in the same language version as the CAD client that it is bundled with.

To identify the installation language of the Operating System:-

1. Start Regedit
2. Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\Language key and take a note of the code next to the "InstallLanguage".
