Autodesk Design Award
Autodesk recognizes the skills, creativity and hard work that participating teams have demonstrated throughout the stages of the competition. So we’re excited to offer the Autodesk Design Award to Hongik University students Kim Cheong Ju, Ahn Dre, Lee Sahngseok for their clever use of CAD technology and technical understanding of both the 2D and 3D skill set in their concept “Ëternita“.

As the winning team they will receive a stylized trophy and a complimentary pass for three team members for Autodesk University 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Autodesk Design Award winner was selected according to four criteria which recognize not only the final design, but
also the process to achieve the result:

  • Advanced use of technology
  • Collaboration
  • Presentation quality
  • Aesthetic & technical quality

Ferrari Prizes
The top three designs were awarded by Ferrari at the final ceremony in Maranello, with the following prizes:

  • 1st place: formal certificate, a 3-month internship at Ferrari for the students of the winning team, a prize sum of € 10,000 per team to be equally divided among the team members;
  • 2nd place: formal certificate, a 3-month internship at Ferrari for the students of the winning team, a prize sum of € 5,000 per team to be equally divided among the team members;
  • 3rd place:  formal certificate, 1 VIP pass for an F1 Grand Prix of the 2011 championship per student.
