Transfer files from one file format to another quickly and easily with the FBX Converter. This utility enables you to convert OBJ, DXF™, DAE, and 3DS files to or from multiple versions of the FBX format. New tools are now available with the FBX Converter 2012.1. You can view FBX animation files in real time with the FBX Viewer, explore and compare FBX file contents with the FBX Explorer, and manage animation takes with the FBX Take Manager.

The Autodesk® FBX® plug-in for QuickTime is a component FBX plugin for Apple® QuickTime® software that lets you play back and interact with 3D files from major 3D applications inside QuickTime.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Autodesk® FBX® for QuickTime plug-in supports only versions of QuickTime 7.x. On Apple® Mac OS® X operating system, you are unable to install QuickTime 7.7 side-by-side with QuickTime X, which is pre-installed with Mac OS 10.7 operating system, it is recommended that you to install QuickTime 7.6.6.
* Files for Mac should download properly as .tgz files on a Mac operating system. However, Windows may automatically rename the files to .gz if downloaded on a Windows machine.
** Files for Linux should download properly, without any extension, on a Linux-based system. However, Windows may automatically add .txt to the files, as there is no extension, and Windows associates these as text files. On Windows, you may also need to right-click the link, and select “Save Target As…”, depending upon your Windows web browser.
