Known Issues

Issue and Description
"MBTU" unit of energy
The unit of energy "MBTU" equals Million BTUs (10^6).
Time Zone
Project locations near time zone borders may follow unusual adjustments, which could result in incorrect labels being displayed for the zone. Users can the correct time zone during the Project Creation workflow, if needed.
Chrome browser
In Chrome, the web browser does not automatically remember Hide / Unhide run settings on the Run List page.
Fuel Use
In the Utility Billing Data Set Template, there is a check box to select "This is an all electric building". Even when this option is selected, the base run results incorrectly shows HVAC fuel usage for a project. Similarly, energy efficiency options simulated by design alternative runs may also show fuel consumption.
Utility Data currency
All electric and fuel costs use US Dollar as the currency. When another currency is to be set, users should modify the rates in the Utility Information tab; changes to the Utility Billing Data Set do not currently propogate to project inputs.
Charts
End Use values in Run Charts may not be visible. Values in the Charts are currently rounded either to whole numbers or to hundredths. In the case of monthly EUI, individual end uses can be less than .005 and therefore are rounded to 0 and may not appear on the chart.
Results in Charts
If a project contains runs with very wide range of results values, smaller values may not be visible when viewed in Run Charts. To view these results, use the Actions dropdown menu on the Run List tab to hide the runs with larger values, then view the charts again on the Run Charts tab.
Weather data
Utility Billing Data upload may fail if weather data for the specified time period or location is unavailable. For example, billing data for current month will not be available in the database until next month. Similarly, weather data for periods older than 10+ years ago are also unavailable. In such cases, on the Utility Information tab, users will see the message "Upload failed. Check spreadsheet for errors and upload again."
Internet Explorer v8
The browser Internet Explorer version 8 is known to perform very poorly with the Run Charts page. For a more optimal experience use one of these newer browsers: Internet Explorer 9 or later, Chrome 15 or later, Firefox 8 or later.
Error sorting in Charts
When the Annual Data charts on the Run Charts tab are sorted by Annual Error or Monthly Error, all chart views, scales and units are sorted by the difference between the utility data and the run’s Energy value, not the EUI or Cost values.
EUI display
In the EUI chart of the Annual Data charts, Utility data is not displayed because the existing building floor area and occupancy is not known.
