Autodesk Provides Drivers with A 3-D Preview of Rebuilt Doyle Drive
A byline, by Mark Prado, reported that Autodesk has developed software, which is being used by the California Department of Transportation that gives the public as well as contractors, engineers and others working on the major San Francisco highway project a critical preview of the work. Doug Eberhard, Senior Director at Autodesk, said, "It helps the agency, officials and stakeholders see what they are getting ahead of time". Autodesk tools Navisworks, Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD will allow projects engineers and designers to see even the internal workings. Prado added that Autodesk technology has also been used on the Bay Bridge and new World Trade Center projects.
