Highlights of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011
Increased Scalability AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 enables faster startup and response times within drawing sessions. A native 64-bit version can be used with 64-bit operating systems, removing the 4 GB memory limitation found in 32-bit applications and enhancing the software’s capability to handle larger projects.
Efficient Corridor Editing Use commands accessible from the contextual tab or grips to modify region start and end stations, add or edit regions, and perform other editing operations. The corridors collection in the prospector now contains all corridor baselines for easier access to the editor.
Superelevation Wizard for Faster Calculations Superelevation is now dynamically linked to alignments in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011. The new Superelevation wizard walks you through calculations and also provides new options—such as the ability to resolve overlap conditions. Graphical editing is also available using the new Superelevation View.
