¹Hardware acceleration is only available for Windows Server® 2003 editions due to restrictions of the system architecture of Windows Server 2008 operation systems.
²Depending on the number of parallel server processes running on the same machine, this may affect the availability of system resources and the performance of the individual processes. A higher number of parallel server processes therefore requires a higher number of CPU cores for faster request processing, so the usage of multi-core processors is highly encouraged. Due to the restrictions of the Windows Server® 2008 operation system for accessing (graphics) hardware from system services, there is no hardware-accelerated mode available on Windows Server® 2008, which in general requires a more powerful CPU (number of CPU cores, clock frequency) for request processing.

⁵The client component of Autodesk® LandXplorer Server for sending requests and displaying the results of those requests is an application based on web technologies such as HTML and Javascript. This requires a web browser supporting Javascript installed on client systems for running this application.
⁶Microsoft®.NET Framework 3.5 is used for both, server-side software components as well as a client-side component, which is used for data management. The client-side component is utilized by Autodesk® LandXplorer Studio Professional in order to accomplish those management tasks.
