Product Trial
The Autodesk® Alias® product trial gives you 30-day access to all of the functionality available in the full commercial version.
There is a trial version available for each of the products in the Autodesk® Alias® product family—Autodesk® Alias® Design, Autodesk Alias® Surface®, and Autodesk® Alias® Automotive. The trials are based on the 2010 versions of the products and are available for Mac and Windows operating systems.

About the Trial Download
To begin the download, choose your preferred operating system. After you download the software, you will be guided through the activation process and will choose your preferred product.
Once you have designated which product you want to try and have completed the Alias Product Trial Registration & Activation download form, an email containing licensing information will be sent to the email address you provide to activate the trial.
The 30-day license begins when the license is generated and sent via email.
About the Download Manager
The Autodesk Alias product trials use the Download Manager, an application from Akamai Technologies that provides faster, more flexible large‐file downloading than is normally available through browsers. The Alias product trial provides “need to know” techniques so you can get up to speed quickly.
- Learning videos—Short “tip and trick” learning videos will automatically launch when you first install the application. You can find them post launch by clicking on Help > Learning Videos
- Learning Alias 2010 manual/video tutorials—Practical tutorials that take you through step-by-step exercises and introduce you to Alias techniques. Included video animations show you how to complete the tutorials.
