Autodesk Maya and Softimage Interoperability On-Demand Webcast

The new interoperability between Autodesk® Maya® and Autodesk® Softimage® ICE (Interactive Creative Environment) means greater flexibility and efficiency when creating dynamic effects. In this webcast we’ll see how to take advantage of new effects capabilities such as Softimage’s Lagoa, which has generated quite a buzz in the industry lately. We’ll see how easy it is for new users of Softimage ICE to generate complex effects using new menu sets to create ICE compounds.

Autodesk Technical Specialists, Lee Fraser and Mark Schoennagel, will show off the new one-click integration between Maya and Softimage. Starting with a scene in Maya, they’ll show you the complete workflow of transferring the scene in Softimage, creating several particle effects, then transferring everything right back to Maya to complete the job!
