These three tutorial video sets cover timeline editing basics, end-to-end timeline finishing and effect, and industry expert demonstrations.
  • Viewing these movies requires Flash Player 7 or later on the PC, Mac, and Linux platforms
  • A broadband connection is not required, but strongly recommended.

Complete the lessons featured in the videos yourself on your workstation. To do so, download the following workbook and setups archive.

Once all files are downloaded:

  1. Use WinRAR (PC) or UnRAR (Mac OS X) to extract the setups archive file (one file, EXPERIENCE.tar, 2.7 GB). Extract experience.part1.rar; you are prompted to continue with parts 2 and 3 automatically.
  2. Once the file EXPERIENCE.tar is extracted, move it to a location accessible to your Fire or Smoke workstation. You do not have to untar the archive.
  3. Instructions for restoring the setups archive are in the PDF.
