Online TutorialsThe Autodesk MapGuide® Tutorials are designed to help you learn about the Autodesk MapGuide application development process. The Tutorials are divided into two parts: a Basic Tutorial and an Advanced Tutorial.
First explore the Basic Tutorial to see what you need to do to make Autodesk MapGuide come to life. Then proceed to the Advanced Tutorial and learn how to use the Autodesk MapGuide® Viewer API to develop custom, web-based mapping applications. Basic Tutorial
The Basic Tutorial introduces you to the following tasks in the Autodesk MapGuide application development process:
- Preparing data
- Using data extensions
- Using map window files (MWF)
- Embedding map window files in a website
- Using Autodesk MapGuide Viewer
Advanced Tutorial
The Advanced Tutorial shows how property assessors might interact with parcel data. This tutorial includes the following functions:
- Parcel searches
- Parcel reports
- Parcel measurement
- Resident notification
- Polygon redlining
- Customized hard-copy output
You can download compressed versions of both tutorials and then install and run them on your own machine. Microsoft® Active Server Pages (ASP) as well as Macromedia's ColdFusion® (CFM) version of the tutorial are included. The executable file is 13 MB.
