Measure the Volume of a VoidLevel: beginner to intermediate Use with: Autodesk Inventor 2011 Approximate time: 40 minutes This skill builder demonstrates techniques for measuring the volume of a part model having voids, such as a quart container and a gas can. The measurement is extracted using various modeling techniques. These techniques can be applied to other modeling tasks and are not solely associated to a measuring task. They can also be applied to measuring an assembly model. The skill builder assumes a knowledge of the basic modeling tools provided with Inventor and familiarity with the ribbon user interface.
