Animation Academy Pollution Module and Game
Are your students concerned about the environment? Well, here’s an opportunity to help them better understand the impact of pollution on the world.
When you play the Pollution game, you’ll get a chance to clean up this city. Earn points by picking up garbage, cleaning oil spills, and changing cars to hybrids.
The Autodesk® 3ds Max® Pollution module is the newest addition to the popular Autodesk® Animation Academy curricula, developed specifically to help students research and visualize the effects of pollution on a 3D environment. In this module, students are challenged to clean up a city within an allotted amount of time, earning points for picking up garbage, cleaning oil spills, and changing cars to hybrids. It’s a fun way to teach environmental stewardship while reinforcing core science and math concepts using Autodesk® 3ds Max® software.
The Pollution module aligns to the same national academic standards for science, math, technology, and language arts as the original five lessons included in the 2008 Animation Academy release. Log into the Autodesk Teacher’s Lounge for more details or play the game for free.
