Academic Certification

The Autodesk Certification program gives students the opportunity to validate their knowledge and skills, helping accelerate their entry into the design industry.  Secondary and post-secondary students can earn the same certifications as professionalsdelivered at their schools at an affordable academic price. 

Academic certification offers an end-to-end solution for institutions and students.  It provides secondary and post secondary schools with a solution for effectively measuring student competencies and provides students with the ability to demonstrate their software skills, validate their knowledge, and get a competitive edge in their academic and professional careers.

Autodesk offers comprehensive preparation materials including Application Proficiency exams and AOTC Autodesk Official Training Courseware. For more detailed information on exam preparation, including sample prep guides, see the exam preparation page.

How to Apply
To become an Autodesk® Authorized Certification Center in North America:

  1. Review the Autodesk Certification Center Requirements.
  2. If you qualify, please contact your Autodesk Value Added Reseller (AVAR) to apply. 

Once you are approved, you will receive a Welcome Packet within 14 business days.
