Autodesk i-drop® technology gives you the ability to drag-n-drop content from the web straight into your drawing session. It also gives designers and developers the power to create web pages that can easily be dragged-and-dropped into i-drop aware Autodesk design products. One component of this technology is the i-drop Indicator that modifies your browser behavior so that you can initiate the drag-and-drop action.

Test i-drop Technology
After downloading and installing the i-drop indicator, test it out with the chair image below. If you're not sure if you have the i-drop indicator, simply move your cursor over the image below. Note: You may need to Refresh to see the i-drop icon.
If you see the i-drop icon, you're all set. Next, select the image below using your left mouse button and hold, drag the image into your Autodesk product, then release the left mouse button to download the content into your Autodesk product. It's that simple. Note: Vista users, make sure the website containing i-drop content is added to the “Trusted sites” list in Internet Explorer, otherwise you will not be able to drag i-drop content to the Autodesk products.
