For more than 20 years, Doug Eberhard has created and implemented innovative technology solutions on more than $120 billion of capital planning, design, engineering, and construction management projects around the world. Eberhard has helped pioneer unique award-winning solutions to virtually communicate and manage proposed projects using advanced computer modeling and visualization, geospatial and project information management systems, digital multimedia, and Internet collaboration technologies. Eberhard has also helped architect and prototype internal business systems and commercial software products used in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries today. Eberhard’s more notable contributions include implementation of 3D/4D modeling for the New York City World Trade Center Rebuilding Program and Fulton Street Transit Center; both public and private information websites for the New York City Lower Manhattan rebuilding effort; and Internet-based construction program management systems for General Motors; AT&T; the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Britain’s Network Rail; New York City’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA); the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans); Singapore Ministry of Environment; and Level 3 Communications. Eberhard has been a featured speaker at numerous AEC industry, media, and academia events and is an adviser to many high-profile AEC consulting firms, owners, and industry groups.
